Retreat was a huge success! Check out our fun!

I was invited to a retreat last weekend and wanted to share some of the pictures.  There were about 16 of us and we all came when we could and stayed until about 10pm Fri- Saturday afternoon.  Most of us stayed until Sunday evening.

Check out some of the artwork we did....
This is a layout that Chandra did when several of them dressed up as characters from CLUE!  WELL DONE!

Here are just a few cards that were made that weekend.

Here are just a few of the ones I made.....

Thank you to our hostess.... Julie.

She had it all set up: All meals, drinks and deserts, several make-n- takes, plus a goody bag.

The two pictures below is all about artwork!

Some ladies worked on paper crafts, some on fabric projects and others on 3-D home decor.
We even had one lady who did nail wraps.

Even the kids participated in a few crafts.

Everyone had something they were good at.
This cute little dress was made during this retreat!

There was a contest to create a card using the Crazy Bird stampset.  Twelve of the 16 participated in making the card and everyone was allowed to vote.  I was one who voted for the winner and my card came in third.  All of it was a lot of fun.
Inside it says:  "Whats you excuse!"  You cant tell but the wings and beak are layered and the hair is made with Thick bakers twine from CTMH.

Please check out my next blog posting and remember No INKYFINGERS- No FUN!

WOW! Look what I got in the mail-

My wonderful friend/big sister sent me the cutest card ever.  I just  had to share!  We use to lived closer together and would get together to scrapbook.  So recently we took a trip out to see them and fell in love with the area.  My husband put in applications for jobs in the area since we decided it was time to sell our WAY TO BIG OF A HOME for just the two of us.  So, she sent this very appropriate card to help remind us that all the changes we are about to make are just part of THE BIG ADVENTURE we call life.
Please comment below on this beautiful card.
