LOVE YOU cards

I was able to spend some time crafting and want to share with you what I made.  We are taking a trip to The Bahamas in February and I would like to show my husband how much I love him so I made these love cards just for him.
This card was very fun to make.  I just cut the egg out of white paper, made a circle with a circle punch, edged the white with some Brown Bag ink from CTMH.  I printed the saying with my computer and mounted it all on a sheet of B&T from CTMH paper pack.  For the yolk of the egg I used liquid glass to give depth.  I really liked the pattern of the paper and felt it is perfect for our trip.
I saw this on pinterest and had to try it for myself.  Yes I made the bacon from scratch. I cut it from white cardstock, drew some lines and colored in the red with a marker. Hope you like it.
The message was printed off the computer.

The bottom of this card is just washi tape.  The keys and postmarks are from a local dollar store!  What a great find.  The other was a gift from a great friend.  The message was printed from my computer and the inside message (pull the arrow out) is a personal touch just for my husband.

This card was lots of fun.  I took the stamps from CTMH stampset called Card Chatter- Love D1464 and assembled them in a block-like fashion.  I then took off the two stamps that I wanted to have red and inked up the remainder in black.  Then I stamped the two in red separately.   I love how this turned out.  If you would like to learn how to do this, just send me an email and I will walk you through it.
This card I inked with sponges using Gypsy, Sky and Sunkiss Yellow inks from CTMH.  Then I printed the saying, leaving space for the two googly eyes.  Simple and cute card. Another one I was inspired from Pinterest.
I saw this card on Pinterest and fell in love with the hearts falling .  All of the hearts are ink but some of them look three dimensional because the ink did not transfer solid from one side and when stamped the second time, the outer edge was darker.  New technique to give some dimension to images?  I will have to play a little more.  This was the first card I started with and it took a little longer than the rest but it is for someone special.... my husband who will be surprised with a new card each day on our cruise.  I am so excited to go.
