Non traditional pine, splash of color birthday and gratitude cards

What is better than not sleeping??  Not sleeping and making cards!  I guess if I cant sleep I would rather make cards than do nothing but lay there and wonder.... so I got up and here is what I made.  Just in time to because I needed to make 12 cards, like yesterday!

Here is the first card design.  I wanted to give these cards a little twist.  Non traditional colors.  Pink and Blue.  One of my favorite stampsets right now is the Perfectly Pine small but very cute stampset.  See it on page 52 of the Holiday Inspirations catalog and here.

I used Pixie and Sky ink with White Daisy cardstock for the base.  I used glitter glue on the pink needles to give it a little extra sparkle.  The sentiment is framed using stitched rectangles die.

Next I made the following birthday cards using Ink Blot- another one of my favorite stamps.  See it here. I used Sunflower, Peacock, Garden Green and Pomegranate for the inks. Again the stitched rectangles and glitter for highlights.  The Happy Birthday is from a very old set (one of my first) called A Little Everything.  I love to stamp the HAPPY in one color and place the birthday on top in another color.  The sparkling happy is cut from felt using the die set from Sizzix-Celebrate (660223).  Another favorite.

Last is my favorite card that I made before the sun came up this morning..... Graditude Birthday.  I made these cards using the SOTM from September.  Imagine getting this set for only $5.00!!  It has 19 stamps and the sentiments are darling.  Perfect for this time of year.
My inks were Garden Green and Orange.  I used the ShinHan Cherry Pin and Left Green markers for coloring.  I cut the pumpkin using Cricut Artbooking cartridge and the Garden Sprig die from Poppy.  And of course some glitter for some WOW.

Here is the pumpkin close up.
Well I hope you have enjoyed my creations and hope you have ink on your fingers and love in your heart.
Please feel free to comment and if you have questions just let me know.  Thanks for stopping by and see you again real soon.
