Ok, I am here to play on the playground! Who is ready for a game?
Here are three things that all have something in common.
Guess what it is and you will guess the card I made!
DICE
HIPS
SALT AND PEPPER
Did you guess it????
You ______ all these things...
YOU SHAKE THEM!
So I made me a......
SHAKER CARD!
And this sentiment is perfect for it. Ok, I am a bad girl. I stole this sentiment stamp out of the items I had for sale!! (Unity Stamp set- Itty Bitty just for the SHAKE of it ) See, you sort to downsize and you fall in love with the stuff all over again!!
So.... while I was waiting for my turn on the swings (time to play with paper) I was inspired by a few of the cards Patti made the last few months. Here is how I CASED her ideas. (dont tell the teacher I copied)
- she recently has made a few shaker cards.
- The wonderful stitched die I used for the center was because I feel in love with how she used them on her cards and got some for myself. (ok, caught me, I have my hand in the cookie jar :)
Here are a few details to zoom in on. The antenna on the butterfly are actually drawn on the inside of the acetate. The green gems are on the outside and the butterfly is floating gently inside. The retired CTMH paper already had the perfect color dots on it. The butter fly was punched from the same CTMH paper, but a place where swirl designs were just waiting to be discovered and transformed (morphed) into art.
And just one more quick look. The sentiment is not suck there like every other sentiment. No it is curved up and out just like a real banner. I am very excited about this card and I hope you are too.
How I was inspired:
Patti of Stationery Styles of course cause she is so awesome.
Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge- Charming
The wonderful colors in this challenge make me think of spring and fun.
Butterfly Challenge
The beautiful butterfly which inspires us all to keep changing for the better.
And
